How SerpBear works

SerpBear uses third-party website scrapers like ScrapingAnt, ScrapingRobot or Your given Proxy ips to scrape Google search results to see if your domain appears in the search results for the given keyword.

SERP Scraper

A scraper that scrapes Google Search results for a given keyword and checks if the given domain exists in the search result and in what position. The scraper scrapes the Google search results with ScrapingAnt, ScrapingRobot, or your given proxy IP list.

CRON Jobs:

SerpBear runs 3 cron jobs.

  1. A Scraper Cron that runs every day at midnight or your given interval (daily, weekly, or monthly) and updates the SERP of all the keywords.

  2. A Retry Cron that retries failed SERP scrapes. It runs every hour. Can be enabled from the app settings panel.

  3. An Email Notification Cron that sends you the current keyword position to your email. It runs at your given interval (daily, weekly, or monthly).
